Georgia Bulldogs: Monday Morning Recap
What Recruits were in Athens?
Zamir White’s was busy bee this weekend. He started at Clemson on Saturday before ending up at UGA. He remains one of the biggest priorities for UGA in 2018 and his commitment to keep coming back to Athens is a great sign. Hopefully he’ll be at G-day in a few weeks!
Richard Jibunor is a rising prospect. He has a big 6-3 frame and is likely going to end up as an OLB pass rusher.
One of the most talented freshmen in the country was also in Athens this weekend. Deondre Jackson could be an awful lot of things, right now he plays about 4 positions at high school. It’s a long way away from his recruitment but its another sign of UGA planning for the future.
With G-day just a few weeks away, a lot of recruits are likely going to be in town then. This is especially true for 2018/2019 targets. That day remains one of the biggest events where UGA can impress recruits. Want proof of this? This weekend FSU had it’s spring game. It then received commitments from 3 Grayson High School players from the 2019 class out of Georgia. Events like this can make huge difference so lets see what happens after April 22nd.
