This is another team that has had a recent coaching change. After a brutal 4-8 2016 season, Mark Helfrich was fired and former Western Kentucky coach Willie Taggart was hired.
The Ducks would definitely be an interesting opponent . Even though last year they were awful, their offense is usually extremely fast. Recent history has seen them field offenses that fly all over the field and are extremely tough to defend.
It would be really cool to watch Kirby and Mel Tucker plan a defense for a matchup with them. Plus, the uniforms. Which one of the 8,726 combinations of green and yellow would the Ducks break out for a prime time game against Georgia? And just like with Virginia Tech, a road trip to Eugene, Oregon to see Georgia vs. Oregon appeals to the college football fan in me.
