Antonio Brown – Central Michigan

Now we’re getting into the ones you probably don’t remember or maybe you didn’t know about. For me personally, I didn’t realize that the Antonio Brown that is dominating the NFL for the Pittsburgh Steelers is the same on that arrived in Athens with Central Michigan to get beaten 56-17 in 2008.

More from Dawn of the Dawg

Brown had 3,199 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns in his three seasons with the Chippewas. he also had 531 rushing yards with another four touchdowns.

Brown played in Athens during his junior season and he put up Antonio Brown-like stats against the Bulldogs. He caught seven passes for 67 yards but Georgia kept him out of the end zone.

Of course it was easy to forget about Brown that day because Knowshon Moreno jumping over a defender stole the show and is really the only thing anyone remembers vividly about that game.

Brown has one more great season with the Chippewas before heading to the NFL where the Steelers drafted him in the sixth round. After a slow rookie campaign with only 16 receptions, Brown broke out in 2011 with 1,108 yards on 69 catches, he even made the Pro Bowl.

But Brown became the man in Pittsburgh in 2013. Since then he hasn’t dipped below 1,200 yards in a season. Brown had a monster year in 2015 with 1,834 yards. He’s been to the Pro Bowl every year since 2013.

After seven seasons, Brown has 8,377 receiving yards with 50 touchdowns.
