1. Southern California Trojans

We’ll get to the grudge matches later. Although this one is still kind of a grudge match because Georgia is 0-3 against the Trojans with losses in 1931, 1933 and 1960.

But even without those games, I still want to see Georgia play USC. I have ever since 2004. That year USC and Georgia both started in the top-3. So in the preseason, a meeting between the two seemed likely. But Georgia lost two games that year so the two teams didn’t play.

And they still haven’t. A major reason why is because there aren’t any bowl games that match the SEc and Pac-12. So the only way we’d see Georgia and USC play is of they meet in a New Years 6 bowl, a playoff bowl or in the regular season.

Georgia has seemed to have played in high profile games against every major conference lately except the Pac-12. The Arizona State games were neat at the time, but they weren’t huge. And Georgia and Oregon cancelled a home-and-home series.

For that reason alone, the announcement of a home and home or even a bowl game between the Bulldogs and Trojans would be the talk of college football. And it’s definetely one I would love to see.

Both teams are so similar as well. New head coaches, balanced, multi-formation pro style offenses, solid defenses. It will be a real heavyweight bout.
