Jacob Eason or Jake Fromm? This seems to be a hot topic right now with certain Dawg fans.  And with a week left until G Day, we probably haven’t heard the last of it. Well, Dawgs,  let me go ahead and spoil the ending for those of you who may not know.  Jacob Eason will be the starting quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs in 2017.

Yes, I know about the level of competition each guy faced in high school. Fromm put up huge numbers against high school defenses in Georgia. Eason did the same at Lake Stevens , Washington. Many have said that Fromm faced much tougher competition in Georgia,  and that’s probably a pretty fair assessment.

I know about Eason’s struggles last year. Even though there were a ton of problems caused last year by lackluster offensive line play, there were still times when he had opportunities to hit a wide receiver downfield and overthrew them.
