Jake Fromm fans, don’t worry . He is a super talented kid and I think the hype behind him is real. His time will come. But as for now, this is Jacob Eason’s starting gig. Look for him to come out and prove why he had those 5 stars beside his name coming out of high school and lead UGA to a lot of SEC wins this year.

Eason is a player that has all the tools. NFL scouts are already have him on their radar for the 2019 draft based off those alone. Having Fromm around is exactly what those same scouts are looking for. Genuine competition to make them both better. When all is said and done, I wouldn’t be surprised if Eason ends up as a top 5 draft pick. I would be even less surprised if Fromm ends up the more successful QB at UGA.

Fromm has a touch of Aaron Murray about him. He lacks the huge arm and the prototype size of Eason, but he has so many other qualities. If Kirby Smart achieves success on the field and in recruiting, there’s every chance that Fromm will play with even better talent than Eason.

No matter what, Georgia fans should be excited. They look set at the games most important position for the next few years. It’s a good time to be a dawg fan!
