Georgia Football: G-Day Squads announced.

With G-Day just 1 day away, the Georgia Football team released their Red and Black Squads for the game tomorrow.

It’s about that time Dawgnation! The Georgia Football Spring practice will kick off at 2pm EST tomorrow. UGA released their squads for the game yesterday and here they are:

There are no particular surprises in the teams although there will certainly be plenty for fans to watch for. The Black team is the first team offense and it’s led by QB Jacob Eason. There are few surprises alongside him. RB’s Sony Michel and Nick Chubb play in their last spring game this season on this side alongside the rest of the starting unit. The units defense has several exciting players that fans will recognize. Julian Rochester, DeAngelo Gibbs and Richard LeCounte will lead an exciting and young side of the ball.

The Red team is made up of the starting defense, including several players such as Trenton Thompson and Roquan Smith who have set out Spring Training so far. They also have several exciting weapons for Jake Fromm to throw to on the offensive side of the ball. Mecole Hardman is going to be playing as a wide receiver for the red team and Elijah Holyfield will be the lead back for the unit. Exciting wide receivers Tyler Simmons and J.J. Holloman should also gets lots of playing time for this unit which is raw, but athletic.
