Georgia football: Predicting the opening day depth chart after the G-Day Game

Corner backs, Safety’s and Star

The only positions that really got hit hard in the off-season are in the defensive backfield. Quincy Mauger and Maurice Smith will be missed by Bulldog fans. But that doesn’t mean that Georgia’s doesn’t have adequate replacements.

In fact, with players like Dominick Sander and Malkom Parrish Returning, as well as Richard LeCounte III enrolling early, Georgia might be even better in the defensive backfield this year.

The defensive backfield is probably where we’ll see the most freshman contribute on the team besides wide receiver.
