Who is Micah Parson?

He’s kind of a beast. Parsons is the #3 overall player in the country for 2018 and the #1 ranked defensive end. He committed to Penn State very early in the process and as a Pennsylvania based player, that wasn’t surprising. It’s his home state team and Jame Franklin certainly has that program on the rise.

He’s an explosive player who looks like he could be a natural pass rusher at whatever program he goes to. In terms of body type, hes very similar to Myles Garrett who is expected to be a top 3 pick in todays NFL draft He has a long way to go to be the kind of player Garrett is, but he certainly has the raw ability to achieve that kind of success.

To be clear, this is the kind of player UGA hasn’t had… well possibly in my memory. Players like Leonard Floyd, Justin Houston, Lorenzo Carter, all dominant athletes who were great pass rushers. None of them had the raw ability that Parsons has, he could be a truly special player for Georgia.
