While they might not be the favorite, UGA certainly appears to have a shot at Parsons. Parsons visited UGA back in February alongside several other prominent recruits. He seemed to really enjoy himself while he was there and it seemed to be the visit that signified that he might start looking around.

He’s been a major focus for the dawgs ever since and Kirby Smart and co. have been working hard on flipping him. That being said, they aren’t the only ones. The two biggets programs in recruiting Ohio State and Alabama are right there with the dawgs. And Penn State shouldn’t be ruled out here. He might have decided to look around but his relationship with the school runs deep. It wouldn’t be a shock to see him commit back to his home school.

It also shouldn’t be forgotten that UGA has been successful in Pennsylvania this past year. D’Andre Swift and Mark Webb both spurned Penn State to come to UGA and both of them were impressed by the culture in Athens. There’s no reason Smart can’t build a similar relationship with Parsons if he gets the chance.
