What’s most likely to happen:

Pardon my suspense, but I think a lot depends on those four cornerbacks coming in. With Terry Godwin looking really good in the slot this year, Hardman is unlikely to start at receiver. But if cornerback is covered, he’s more likely to stay on offense.

I also think he sees a lot of time returning punts and kickoffs this year. The staff really seems to be looking for ways to get the ball in his hands and that should be good for Georgia overall. I don’t expect him to see any time on defense this year to be honest and I do expect him to be more involved on offense then Godwin was in 2016.

Even though he won’t start, I think it’s most likely that the UGA coaches find a way to get the ball in his hands roughly 10 times a game this year. Whether that’s returns, running plays or receiving, I expect to see him more involved on offense then people expect. With his big play ability, I also expect a great deal of those touches to result in some really big plays for the dawgs.

Hopefully I’m right because I do believe that if Hardman is going to make the most out of this switch, he needs to get the ball. If coaches do that, fans will hopefully pleasantly surprised by the results.
