Georgia football: Fans should calm down about 2018 recruiting class

Many Georgia football fans are beginning to panic regarding the class of 2018. We are almost three months removed from the 2017 National Signing Day.

Take a step back from the ledge, fellow Georgia football fans. Sure we just lost one of our top commits in this class, and we just missed out on someone who at one point felt to be a Georgia Lock.

But we still have 284 days left in this recruiting cycle. Also it seems that not many of our recruiting targets are planning on making any commitments any time soon. There is a ton of people deciding in the middle of or the end of their senior seasons.

Something that may change everyone’s opinion on our class may happen before August. Zamir White is planning on announcing his commitment on June 27, 2017. This would be the guy that could start the trend of recruiting wins this season for the Dawgs. This is the only expected commitment out of all of Georgia’s targets before the start of the season.

So don’t fret fellow Dawgs there is a lot of time left in this recruiting cycle. And a lot of our top targets don’t plan on announcing anytime soon.

This is going to be a slow process, and we just need to sit back and let the coach that signed the highest ranked class ever at Georgia. Do what he does best, and that is bring in the players he needs in his system.
