The draft that was responsible for two of the best defensive tackles of the 2000’s. But the draft also produced a few more players who would be solid contributors to their teams for much of the next decade.

NFL careers
Richard Seymour and Marcus Stroud were the biggest stars of Georgia’s 2001 class. Both made numerous Pro Bowls in their careers. Seymour had the more illustrious career as he won three Super Bowl’s with the Patriots. he finished his 12-year career with 57.5 sacks. Stroud had 29.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles and 424 tackles in his 10 seasons in the NFL.
Kendrell Bell had seven good years as a linebacker for the Steelers and Chiefs with 20.5 career sacks. Jonas Jennings started and appeared in 75 games in his eight years with the Bills and 49ers.
