Georgia Football: How are Notre Dame looking this spring?

It’s still early, but don’t expect UGA to be favorites for this game:

Look, as a UGA fan, I really think we can win this game. Hell I’d almost go as far as saying that I believe we WILL win this game, but I am cautious. Notre Dame were bad in 2016 and I don’t expect that same team to be playing this year. They are going to be better this year. Whether that’s the coaches, the QB or an improved defense, things have to get better for them.

The UGA game is a statement game for the Irish. They need to win to show their fans that they are relevant again and wash the bad taste from last year out of their mouths. This is going to be a real dog fight for Georgia. They are going into what will be a very hostile environment. Playing a highly motivated program with a lot of talent. It’s going to be one of the biggest tests Kirby Smart has ever faced as a head coach.

I Don’t expect UGA to be favorites when this game comes around. The national media is already marking this as a win for the Irish and their fans are bullish. Personally, I still believe that UGA’s defense is going to be nasty in 2017 and that it’s going to shock Note Dame when they see it. But one things for sure. This is going to be a slugfest, and I can’t wait!
