Georgia Football: Top 10 teams the Bulldogs have never defeated
8. Utah
As you’ll come to find, this list is littered with Pac 12 teams. Which is understandable because Georgia has only played a team from out west 27 times. The Bulldogs have played and defeated two of the FBS teams in the state of Utah, but they have never met the Utes.
Utah has never won a national title but they were one of the best teams from a non-major conference until they joined the Pac 10 (helping make it the Pac 12) in 2011. Since then, they’ve been one of the best teams in the Pac 12. Utah also has six undefeated seasons in their history with 24 conference championships.
But their biggest win in program history came in 2010 when they defeated Alabama in the Sugar Bowl 31-17 to finish the season 13-0. That put the whole college football world on notice and eventually led to their invitation into the Pac 12.
But as of right now, Utah is one of the best programs that has never played Georgia. Kyle Whittingham is also one of those coaches who always seems to have his team ready for every game, making the Utes a dangerous opponent.
Unfortunately, SEC versus Pac 12 match-ups are rare, even during bowl season. It might be a while before Georgia and Utah play one another.
