Like most schools, recruiting is a big deal for Georgia Football. That’s why recent changes to the signing day process matter for fans. December 20-22, 2017 will be an early taste of what your team could have coming in for their respective recruiting class. The 3 day period will allow recruits to sign their National Letters of Intents early. This will give the early enrollees their chance to shine with their own National Signing Day feel.

So what does this mean for that first Wednesday in February that we go oh so crazy for? Will it lose its excitement? I surely hope not. I love NSD. It’s the first day of the season for me. I enjoy talking to my Dad and Granddad after all the recruits have signed and hearing the excitement of a huge commitment, or the despair of one that got away.

Or will this December period mean double the excitement? I’m really looking forward to seeing how this is going to work out. Georgia traditionally has a good bit of early enrollees so this might be fun! Either way, it was passed so I’m looking forward to December 20-22!
