Unfortunately, despite the victories, both tennis programs ended up under somewhat of a cloud this weekend. Dawgnation.com reported that the Associate Head Coach for both teams have been suspended. Drake Bernstein is the AHC for the womens team and Bo Hodge holds the same position for the mens one.

Both head coaches and the administration are refusing to comment at the moment. It seems like some sort of due diligence is going on so therefore they are unlikely to talk until that is completed. Still, its a big challenge for the teams to overcome. At the most important time of year, for both teams to lose their Associate Head Coaches is a big blow.

Hopefully the teams can overcome this. Mens Tennis Head Coach Manny Diaz has brought back former Associate HC Will Glenn temporarily. Glenn has held held the position before, most recently in 2015. The ladies team had two junior coaches, Vrnoi Van Berlo and Will Reynolds handle responsibilities for their most recent game.
