1. Notre Dame

Do I need to tell you about Notre dame’s history for You to know how great of a history the Fighting Irish have? probably not. This is a team with 11 national championships in eight different decades.

They have 97 All-Americans and seven Heisman Trophy winners. And of course, they have one of the best traditional looks in all of college football.

Talking about just the highlights of Notre Dame history would take thousands of words. Just know the names Knute Rockne, Frank Leahy, Ara Parseghian, Dan Devine and Lou Holtz. Five of the best head coaches in college football history, all national champs at Notre Dame.

And yet, Georgia is 1-0 against the Fighting Irish. If you’re a Georgia fan, you know good and well that one time the Bulldogs and Irish met was in the 1980 Sugar Bowl. Herschel Walker and the Georgia Bulldogs won 17-10 to win a National Championship and finish no. 1 in the Associated Press and Coaches Polls for the first time ever.
