4. Team rushing yards in a season

This one could be higher and besides the no. 5 and no. 1 spots on this list, the middle three were very hard to place. But I feel more confident that the records at the no. 3 and no. 2 spots will be broken than the record for team rushing yards in a season.

In 2014, Todd Gurley, Nick Chubb, Sony Michel and a few others combined for 3,352 yards. They broke a record that, believe it or not, stood for 43 years.

Chubb and Michel were part of that last group, can they along with Brian Herrien, Elijah Holyfield and maybe D’Andre Swift surpass 3,352 yards? It’s definitely possible.

Chubb and Michel both have 1,000 seasons under their belts and they’ll be running behind a better offensive line and playing with a better offense. Chubb and Michel might become the first duo in Georgia football history to both rush for over 1,000 yards. If that happens, surely Herrien, Holyfield and Swift (if he’s not redshirted) can combine for another 1,000.

They might not break the record, but I definitely think that they can get close to it.
