Bringing Stricklin back with no extension.

Lets start with what is likely going to be the most obvious solution. The Georgia bulldogs could bring Stricklin back and give him one more year. He has a contract that expires in two years but nobody likes playing to the end of these. Recruits and coaches want to know there is going to be some stability in the program.

The problem with that is that Stricklin has not won in the past 4 years. His time at Georgia has been marred by inconsistent and underwhelming play. He would be hard pressed to argue that his results have been good enough. So if he’s going to be kept again for 2018, leaving him without an extension should be fine. He get’s told his is his last chance to turn things around. If anything UGA will be criticized for being too lenient with a coach who is a long way away from a .500 record at the school.
