Georgia Baseball: What to do with Scott Stricklin?

Move on to a young assistant.

If Georgia decides to move on from Stricklin, it’s tough to see where they would go. In many ways, it seems most likely that they will hire an assistant from somewhere. This is mainly due to their tendency to not spend big money on coaches, particularly in baseball.

To be honest, this is probably my least favorite option available. Even if they went out and hired someone like Mike Bell from Florida State, a highly thought after Associate that many expect to one day get the top job at FSU, this option seems like the most risky. UGA has just spent 4 years with a coach trying to implement their own style and their own players, can we really afford to bring in another coach who might need a long learning period?
