After ending May with a commitment, the Georgia Football team kicked off June with two major announcements.

They might have had a rough start to the recruiting cycle but the Georgia Football team is starting to build up a bit of speed. After getting the surprise commitment from Jaevon Becton on Wednesday, UGA received two more on Friday.

The first came from a four star offensive linemen and a recent entry into the Rivals top 250. Warren Ericson is the #3 ranked offensive guard in the state behind Jamaree Salyer and Trey Hill. He chose UGA over Alabama and South Carolina. Chad Simmons states in his interview with Ericson that he’s not the knid of player who loves the spotlight. But he’s a major get for UGA and it will be interesting what this means for those two other big time targets that Georgia has at offensive line.

The next commitment is Richard Wildgoose Jr, a CB out of Miami. Wildgoose is a player who has just started to see his recruitment blow up this summer. He decommitted from Rutgers a week ago after he started getting some big time SEC offers. Expect his current ranking to change dramatically before signing day. It will be interesting to see how he develops in his senior season.

At the very least, I think we can all agree that this ‘league of shadows’ graphic the UGA DB unit is doing is awesome. Look out for a more in depth analysis of these new players next week on DotD!
