‘Hard nosed’ and ‘no nonsense’. Just what I like in my Offensive Linemen.

Yeah, this is the bit where I go on about why I like the guy. Ericson might not have the hype, but he’s exactly what football coaches and players want in an offensive linemen. He keeps to himself, but he’s a massive man and his highlights show that he has a nasty side to him when he’s blocking.

Is it just me, or does he finish off blocks or what? I just love the way that once he locks onto someone, he’s taking that guy down. As in DOWN. I actually felt sorry for some of the defensive players in this video, once he’s got his hands on them, its over. He’s a finisher and that’s not necessarily something you can teach. He’s playing all along the line in these highlights which show that he’s a big man with some versatility as well.

He’s also got better feet than you might think. He gets out on the edge and moves around better than I was initially expecting when I started watching him. All in all, sign me up and get him to Athens. He looks like a guy born to play in the SEC trenches.
