Born in Atlanta, Seacrest is one of the most recognizable faces in entertainment in the world today. He spent over a decade as the host of the superhit, American Idol and is now basically the 2017 version of the late great Dick Clark. He is the new co host of the morning talk show,  “Live With Kelly and Ryan” after co host Michael Strahan left the show last year.  He also founded the entertainment production juggernaut, “Seacrest Productions” which is responsible for megahits such as “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”.

Seacrest was a student at UGA for one year, majoring in journalism. He had a job at a local radio station in Athens during his short time here. His most recent UGA ties came in 2016, when he delivered the commencement speech to that year’s graduating class. He is also a philanthropist who works with hospitalized children through his “Ryan Seacrest  Foundation”.
