Chandler portrayed Coach Eric Taylor on the hit series “Friday Night Lights” , which was a tv drama about high school football in a small town where football is king. He now has a successful career in movies. See? Between this and the Michael Strahan mention earlier, we still managed to get some sports in. That show, by the way ,is really good if you’ve never watched. My lovely wife Michelle got me into it and it’s binge watch worthy. Chandler left UGA to pursue an acting career and it obviously worked out pretty well for him. He won an Emmy in 2011 for his role on Friday Night Lights.
