The 2018 recruiting class has another new member. The Georgia Football team got a big commitment this weekend from Offensive Tackle Owen Condon. Condon lives in Oklahoma but his mother is a UGA grad. He’s a big man, currently standing 6 ft 6 and 305lbs. He’s a long way from playing in the SEC having never faced top nothc competition in high school but the raw tools are absolutely there.

Condon is the kind of player that makes a lot of sense for this years O-line class. Last year UGA took a lot of linemen, several of whom will be in contention to start right away. Condon has the size and quick feet that Sam Pittman loves to see from his linemen, but there is no doubt he’s raw. He will learn and grow in a group that already looks a lot bigger than in did in 2016.
