You win some, you lose some. Georgia Football took a loss on the recruiting front on Sunday when running back Master Teague III committed to Ohio State. His decision to go to the buckeyes came out of left field for a lot of people. He didn’t even have an offer from the school until Friday. Georgia was considered by many to be the school leading for his signature and he has some exciting traits. Not many players run a 4.31 40 yard dash before their senior season in high school.

That being said, all is not lost for Georgia on the running back front. As I looked at yesterday, UGA is still heavily in the race for #1 overall back Zamir White. Ohio State were the ‘momentum’ program in White’s recruitment recently. Several experts had suggested that the Buckeyes were now his favorite program over Georgia. Teague joins 2 other highly rated running backs in their 2018 class now, which I believe makes it unlikely White will head to Columbus.

We’re just 15 days right now from Zamir White’s planned commitment day, the 27th of June. Fingers crossed that’s going to be quite a good day for Georgia Bulldogs fans
