Matt Corral is the nations #2 ranked Pro Passer for the 2018 cycle. He committed to USC in his home state of California back in February 2016. However over the past few months, there have been rumors that he has been looking at other schools. Georgia seems to be one of those schools and there was a report recently about how he has struck up a friendship with Jacob Eason. Eason recently made the trip from West Coast to Athens in 2016.

Corral Announced this weekend that he is decommiting from USC. He also said that he is no longer considering the school and will look at other options. Georgia seems to be seriously in the race for him and that’s pretty exciting. They remain in the race for local Dual Threat QB Justin Fields as well. It will be incredible if UGA can bring in one of these QB’s to join Eason and Jake Fromm. Three QB’s like that in three years would be unparalleled in UGA’s history.
