Georgia football has produced  many great NFL players. But Georgia has been a pipeline for more than just the NFL over the years.

When talking about Georgia football players and what they did after they left Georgia, most of the conversation revolves around the players who were stars in the NFL. Understandably so, the NFL is the most popular sports league in North America.

But what about those who became great in other fields? That’s what today’s countdown is about. The five best former Georgia football players who became stars somewhere other than the NFL.

Whether it’s still as a football player in the Canadian League, an arena league, as a football coach, announcer, journalist, pro-wrestler or just about anything else where you receive a ton of recognition for success.

The only other criteria is that the players in question not have success at all in the NFL. That means Herschel Walker is not on this list because of his three USFL seasons. Neither Hines Ward for Dancing With the Stars.

However, former Bulldogs who were good NFL coaches are eligible. As long as they weren’t solid players in the NFL.
