Lots of top prospects at ‘The Opening’.

This past weekend ha been one of the biggest prospect camps of the year. Nike’s ‘The Opening’ is a huge collection of high school talent. There are 166 of the nations top high school players going up against each other. Last year there were a tonne of UGA commits in Oregon but this year, it’s a bit different. Only 2018 CB Chris Smith and 2019 DE Nolan Smith are committed to UGA and the later is wavering a bit as ‘bama and Clemson are coming for him.

That being said, there are a lot of players that UGA is really in the mix for. If Kirby and Co. can close the way they have been, quite a lot of these boys are going to be dawgs one day. I’ll be doing a much more in depth post later today about all the different things coming out from this event.
