Georgia Football: Checking out Nike’s ‘The Opening’.
Which recruits ‘might pop’ UGA’s way soon?
Well it won’t be Cook. He’s going to take him time and decide and with a decision like his, he probably should. However, there are several other players in Oregon this week who could #committotheG soon.
Azeez Ojulari is a player who is starting to get more national attention. A player out of Marietta Ga, Ojulari is putting in some impressive reps in Oregon. He’s a very athletic player who is a bit raw, but he has a lot of potential. He’s likely to be an OLB rather than a DE on Saturdays, but he would be a really exciting commitment. Rumors are abound that he could commit soon and UGA is the leader. Another bit of good news regarding Azeez, his brother is going to be a top 100 player in the 2020 class.
Josh Vann is a receiver who UGA are right in the mix with. He’s been playing with Justin Fields this weekend and has looked really good. He’s the 3rd receiver in this class UGA are really targeting alongside Kearis Jackson and Marquez Ezzard. I’m of the opinion they only take 2 in this years class. If Ezzard commits to FSU this weekend, I think UGA pushes past South Carolina to secure Vann’s commitment.
The rest of the players UGA are after look like they will take some more time. Both QB’s will make their decision this summer at some point but not in the next few weeks. Tray Hill, Kearis Jackson and Tyreke Johnson will likely wait until the season is underway. Finally Jamaree Salyer will go until signing day or at least the beginning of 2018. It sucks waiting, but there could be a lot of good news from this class coming down the line.
