Georgia football: Top five individual school records that may never be broken

Records were meant to be broken, but that doesn’t mean that all records will be broken. With changes to the sport and the way it’s played, there are numerous Georgia football records that will just never be surpassed.

Football has changed drastically in its almost 150-year history. The passing game has gone from only being used in desperation to the focal point of many offenses in the nation. Triple-option offenses with multiple stallions in the backfield used to be the norm. Now workhorses share less of the load while triple-option offenses are ran with players who are just athletes and less of running backs.

Because of these drastic changes in the way the sport is played, some records set decades ago might be destined to stand forever. Or at least until the next major change in the sport.

The Georgia football record book is home to such records and today we’re counting down five school records that might never be broken. But first, here are two honorable mentions:
