Georgia Bulldogs weekly recap: SEC Media day is near & Recruiting updates
Adam Anderson is back on the Market.
Adam Anderson was a long time UGA commit until April. He surprisingly decommited on G-day when two of his high school teammates in Rome decided to head to LSU and the three of them all committed on the same day. Roll forward 3 months and things don’t look quite so bright for the Tigers on that front. Jamarcus Chapman, a DT has moved his commitment over to LSU and yesterday Anderson made the following announcement:
Many have been saying that this will likely lead to Anderson committing back to UGA. It’s not going to be a sure thing but I do think that is ultimately where he ends up. Anderson is a different kind of guy, who really just wants to play where he is comfortable. I think the reason LSU appealed to him is that playing with 2 of his current teammates made his feel that comfort. With that ‘group ticket’ now off the table, I don’t know if another school can offer him the level of comfort Georgia can.
Anderson is a serious talent. He’s the #1 overall OLB for the 2018 class and to be honest, he’s underrated by most recruiting services. He doesn’t go out to showcases and he plays in a small school. But his talent is undeniable. Hopefully he comes back to Athens and rejoins the 2018 class. If he does, he will make a huge impact on Saturdays in Georgia.
