Recruiting isn’t going to stop.

Yep boys and girls, we might be in the ‘dead period’, but there is still plenty of things happening with recruiting this month. Technically we are in a ‘Quiet Period’ in terms of NCAA visits, but there is plenty going on in Athens this month.

Georgia will be hosting not one, but two 5-star QBs this month. Justin Field, the nations #1 dual threat Qb will be in Athens for an overnight visit on July 16th and the 17th. Matt Corral, the pro style passer will be in Athens for an overnighter later that month. There remains a great chance UGA picks up one of these players as a commitment by the end of the month.

There is also going to a BBQ at the end of the month for recruits. I can’t say I’ve been able to find too much info about this. It seems to be pretty under wraps but a LOT of talent is going to be there. Several prominent commits and a lot of high priority targets will be in Athens that week as Kirby firms up the 2018 class. One consistent thing that this coaching staff does is keep a lot of these things quiet. They aren’t interested in winning the newspaper headlines, just the recruiting battles.

July is going to be a big month for the 2018 class. Keep your eyes out for 3-4 big time commitments.
