Chances of a UGA win?

It should be pretty damn high to be honest. After the somewhat embarrassment of Nicholls State last year, this game is a tad worrying. Samford are a better team than Nicholls was, but hopefully this Georgia team is different too. This is the kind of game that UGA have to go out and dominate. They have to use own the lines of scrimmage and make both sides of Samford’s team feel uncomfortable.

I remain a big believer that we are going to see a big jump in Georgia’s performance in year 2 under Kirby Smart. That’s why I believe this will end up being a pretty comfortable win. I also believe that we’ll get to see some freshmen for the first time which will be exciting. I really look forward to seeing some of the defensive studs from the 2017 class getting reps in this game.  This is not a game Georgia should or will take likely. No matter the result in South Bend, I really believe that after Nicholls, this will be a game UGA plays well in.

Penny Prediction: UGA comes away with a comfortable victory and moves to 2-1
