Georgia Football 2017 Preview: Mississippi State

Chances of a UGA win?

While I think it could be a bit closer than we would like, I believe that eventually UGA will prevail over the SEC West’s Bulldog team. Nick Fitzgerald is a genuine weapon and I’m pretty sure Mississippi State will find a way to score some points. However, I think Georgia’s defense is going to be able to match up well against the Miss State offense. Fitzgerald might be able to run, but we saw in the past bowl game that UGA can contain running QB’s with their OLBs.

I also feel pretty confident that this is a game that the Georgia offense can put up some big points in. The Missisippi State defense has a lot of holes and I expect UGA to exploit this. Add in the fact that this is an SEC West opponent in Sanford stadium and I expect Athens to be packed out. This year, Georgia fans have a rather uninspiring lineup in Athens. This is probably going to be the biggest game in Sanford this year. I therefore expect fans to be very rowdy. Dawg fans can make this atmosphere tough for Mississippi State and I full expect them to do just that.

For me, this could be a big weekend for recruiting and I expect lots of big name sot be in town. That’s why I believe that when it’s all over, this will be a big win for the GEORGIA Bulldogs.
