While there will undoubtedly be recruits that will always want to play for Georgia no matter what, several high profile UGA targets for 2018 and beyond have made it clear that the Dawgs need to take the next step in 2017 in order to be in the running for their commitments.
Georgia will only be able to sell the “building something” message for so long. Fans, recruits, and the college football world expect Georgia to be better in 2017. If the Dawgs want to consistently compete with programs like Alabama and Ohio state for the best recruiting class each year, then they will have to produce results on the field.
The UGA recruiting classes for 2018 and 2019 are shaping up nicely. If Georgia lives up to expectations this year, those two classes could end up being the best Georgia has ever had once more highly ranked recruits Commit to the G.
