National Exposure

This game serves as a great opportunity for the Georgia program to receive some prime time national exposure. The game will be televised on NBC at 7:30 p.m. ET on a Saturday night.

If Georgia takes advantage of the exposure and takes care of business in South Bend, the long-term benefits to the program will be endless. A victory here will not only give Smart a signature win. And it will, perhaps, silence some of the doubters who say Georgia can’t perform on the big stage.

This game will also provide an opportunity for some key players to showcase their skills to a national audience. Plus it’ll boost their draft stock for the NFL in 2018.

The college football world will have its eye on this game. Time will tell if Georgia can step up and take a key step toward building the program back to greatness. The importance of the game against Notre Dame should not be overlooked. A win in South Bend will help Kirby Smart continue along with his plan to bring a championship to Athens.
