Georgia football: Predicting offensive skill player ratings for NCAA Football 18
Quarterbacks, running backs
Jacob Eason
Just because he was the best quarterback of his recruiting class, that doesn’t mean EA would have given him a 90. Based on ratings of quarterback prospects you see in the games dynasty mode, Eason would probably be put in the low to mid-80’s. After a solid 2,400-yard season, Eason’s rating would should up for NCAA 18.
NCAA 17 rating: 83, B-
NCAA 18 rating: 88, B+
Jake Fromm
Since Eason would be an 83 as a highly sought-after quarterback, we would expect the same for Fromm.
NCAA 17 rating: —
NCAA 18 rating: 83, B-
Brice Ramsey
Ramsey’s rating probably wouldn’t change at all. He hasn’t even thrown 200 career passes for Georgia nor has he ever started a game. But because of his punting, we’ll rate Ramsey twice.
NCAA 17 rating: 75, C (quarterback). 84, B (punter)
NCAA 18 rating: 77, C+ (quarterback). 86, B (punter)
Nick Chubb
Chubb is Chubb, what else is there to say. His bump will be very small because the max is 99. Not much room for improvement.
NCAA 17 rating: 96, A
NCAA 18 rating: 98, A+
Sony Michel
Same applies to Michel.
NCAA 17 rating: 91, A-
NCAA 18 rating: 95, A
Brian Herrien
Because Herrien was a late addition to the 2016 class, he would not have been on NCAA 17. So NCAA 18 would be his debut.
NCAA 17 rating: —
NCAA 18 rating: 86, B
Elijah Holyfield
Holyfield would have been on NCAA 17 however, but because we didn’t see much out of him in 2016, his rating will probably be mostly the same.
NCAA 17 rating: 82, B-
NCAA 18 rating: 84, B
D’Andre Swift
Freshman Swift would also be making his NCAA Football debut in 2017.
