What do they do well:

They should have a strong defensive line again this season. The Commodores return a truly deep line and they did a great job last year stuffing the run. Georgia only rushed for 75 yards against Vanderbilt last year in what was a truly poor offensive performance.

They also saw a dramatic improvement from their offense in the final 2 games of the season after they really struggled to put up yards and points for much of the season. They only accounted for 171 yards in the win vs UGA, but that all changed against Ole’ Miss and Tennessee. Shurmur accounted for his first breakout games in those matches and threw for just under 700 yards and 4 TD’s in those two games combined.

They also should have a strong running game so long as their offensive line holds up. Ralph Webb ran for just under 1300 yards last season and goes into his senior year. They will also have redshirt freshman Jamauri Wakefield seeing playing time this year. Coaches have raved about him all off-season and are excited about what he could bring to the offense.
