Chances of a UGA win?

If there is one thing I have learnt over the years, its not to underestimate South Carolina. They showed last year against Tennessee that they can turn in an upset when they need to. What dawg fan could forget the 2014 game that derailed that season. Georgia were the #6 seed in that game and the season went down hill from there.

This is a weaker SC team then back then, but they are still frisky. Because we have seen so little of Jake Bentley, it’s very hard to know exactly what their offense will look like. Again, there is an awful lot of hype around him and there is a chance that he lives up to that. If he does, this is going to be a really tough game. Great QB play can overcome pretty much anything in college football.

However, I think it’s more likely that he’s a good but not great QB this year. He had his moments last year, but I think he’s going to find this year tougher than some experts seem to think. While I can see him having a decent game against us, I still don’t think he’ll be able to totally overcome a strong UGA defense.

Penny Prediction: Georgia gets a scare but is able to avoid the letdown and move to 8-1.
