Chances of a UGA win?

Ultimately, I think this will be a really close game. The fact that Auburn will be the home team should not be underestimated. I think that Auburn will likely disappoint again this year. I think all of the predictions of them getting 10/11 wins are not particularly accurate. However, I do think that they are going to be incredibly dangerous, especially towards the end of the year. Stidham will likely take some time to settle in, as will new offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey. However, once they start clicking, there’s a very good chance they are going to be tough to beat.

I also think that this could well end up being a game Auburn have to win. If they go into this with 3 or 4 losses, which I think is very likely, a loss here could be the end of Malzahn. He cannot afford another 7 or 8 win season. He needs at least 9 to be able to hold off the vultures that are circling his program.

That and the fact that this game is in Auburn is the reason I think UGA could take the loss. Georgia is still going to be pushing for the East win or lose this game. A lot of people on the other sideline will be playing/coaching for their jobs. I would love to be wrong. I would love to see Georgia be the program that puts the final nail in Malzahn’s coffin, but right now, I think that might just be a bridge too far.
