Wide receiver: Javon Wims

This one might seem odd because Wims didn’t have a great first year in Athens so he’s going to have to build his legacy in just one year. But I really believe he will have a fantastic senior season.

he has a lot going for him starting with his size. There aren’t any experienced receivers on Georgia’s roster who are as big as him. He’s 6’4 and over 210 pounds. Meaning he’s a big target for Jacob Eason outside and deep downfield.

Riley Ridley might be the best all-around receiver, and Terry Godwin will definitely get his catches. But Wims will get a lot of attention because a receiver his size can be trusted to make the physical catches in crucial situations.

There are now other big receivers on the roster after this last recruiting class, but none of them have Wims’ experience.

His name isn’t going to go up there with A.J. Green or Terrence Edwards. But as a junior college transfer who gave the Bulldogs one great season, he will earn high praise from every Georgia football fan.
