It’s good to be back people. Georgia Football is finally back in camp and the pads are on. We’re just over a month away from the first game and we can finally get excited. Football is nearly back! With UGA now back training, fans can finally start to watch how players are doing in camp. This means that after 6 months of wondering how they look, we might finally be able to get a few answers. Of course, UGA being UGA, they put our an awesome video last night of their first day:

There were a few things that stood out to people during the first day of camp. Firstly, Kirby Smart offered no more news about 2017 signee’s Robert Beal and Devonte Wyatt. Both of them seem to be dealing with some academic issues and have not qualified to join UGA yet. There has been some positive talk that Beal will get in, but people are very quiet on Wyatt. Hopefully both players can make qualify and join the boys in Athens ASAP.

Seth Emerson also reported that D’Andre swift and the other backup running backs spent a lot of time in the slot. It looks like UGA is going to get creative with their weapons this year. That’s a good thing if you ask me. He also reported that Freshman Jalen Hunter was practicing at ILB. Hunter was considered an OLB during recruiting but it will be interesting to see how versatile he can be.
