Georgia football: Offensive players to watch out for during the preseason

The 2017 Georgia football season is almost here. Preseason practices began Monday.

The preseason is an exciting time for fans, and it’s certainly no different for Georgia football fans. Much of that excitement is because it signals that the start of the year is just a month away.

But the preseason is also an exciting time because it’s where many players really begin to hit their stride. Some are newcomers, some have spent their careers to this point on the sidelines. And in the preseason, competition for slots on the opening day depth chart begin to get fierce.

Like every preseason, many those players will emerge to become contributors. Some of them will step up to become stars.

Here is a short list of players on offense you should watch closely this preseason. These are guys that I think could go on to have the first productive season of their careers in Athens. A separate list for defensive players will be published tomorrow.
