Chauncey Manac

The spot on Georgia’s depth chart with the most competition might be backup outside linebacker. Seniors Lorenzo Carter and Davin Bellamy will continue to start week-to-week at the Will and Sam positions but who plays behind them? Junior D’Andre Walker will be the backup on one side.

Redshirt freshman Chauncey Manac faces stiff competition from incoming freshmen Robert Beal, Jadan Hunter and Walter Grant. However, the coaches and players are high on Manac, they even gave him the Defensive Scout Team Player of the Year award.

But, outside linebacker might not be the position he plays this year. In the spring he spent time at defensive end and so far in the preseason, he’s played there as well. Regardless, Manac looks like a potential standout for the Bulldogs this season.
