What do they do well:

Like several other programs UGA will face this year, Kentucky know how to run the ball. Last year they rushed for over 3000 yards as a program. That’s a whole lot of yards. Freshman all American Benny Snell won the starting job last year and needs to be accounted for when he’s on the field. He rushed for over 1000 yards and 13 touchdowns in his first season and will be out to do even better in year 2. Georgia fans should remember the 114 yards and 2 TD’s he put up against them last year. He’s a powerful runner who put up all of those numbers despite sitting out the 1st two games of the season.

It’s not just Snell though. Sihiem King and A.J. Rose both have lightning speed and are great foils for his power. The fact that Kentucky can roll out 3 RB’s that can be game breakers from anywhere on the field is challenging for defenses. They also have one of the SCE’s top O-Lines which you would not expect and this should be a good test for UGA’s defense. If Georgia can stop the run, they should be able to stop Kentucky.

QB Stephen Johnson had his moments last year and people are expecting a solid season from him. If he improves and makes this an offense that can throw as well as it can run, this could turn into quite the shootout.
