Chances of a UGA win?

In some ways, this game has ‘TRAP’ written all over it. With the Auburn game the week before and a big rivallry game against Georgia Tech the following week, there’s a chance UGA players don’t take this game seriously. What should help focus them is the fact that winning this game should secure the SEC East for Georgia. That should make a big difference and there remains a big talent gap between the two sides.

Kentucky have made an impressive leap over the past few years and Stoops deserves a lot of credit for making this team competitive in the SEC. That being said, Georgia should be able to have their way with this team in 2017. This years UGA team has all the talent and as the final SEC game of the schedule should need to win this game. I think that by the end of the season, Georgia’s offensive line should be improved and it’s running game should be really good. This is the kind of game I expect Chubb and Michel to run wild. I also think that Jacob Eason and his weapons could have a big day. If UGA establishes the run against this team, the play action game will be wide open.

In short, no games in the SEC are easy and Kentucky are going to be a difficult team to beat this year. But I think with the SEC East on the line, Georgia comes through and wins the division.

Penny Prediction: Georgia secures the all precious SEC East title and moves to 9-2.
