Georgia Football had its annual fan day this past weekend. Fans got to watch a training session and then meet some of the players.

It’s one of the best days of the year to be in Sanford if you ask me. The day when Georgia Football has it’s fan day during its fall training camp. It’s a rare opportunity for fans to get up close and watch its favorite players train. In some cases, it helps identify who is struggling and who is doing well in camp. After training, there are also plenty of opportunities for fans to meet some of the players and coaches.

It’s awesome for kids, but its also great for those of us adults who are a little football obsessed. Believe it or not, I actually think you get to see more out the team then you do in the spring scrimmage. All the freshmen are here and the depth charts battles are underway. It’s still very early in camp, but there is a lot that the average fan can take away from the day.

Anyway, what all of you readers want to hear about is what players looked good during training. So lets have a quick dive into how the team looked. Just a quick reminder for everyone, these observations are based off one practice. Just ONE. It’s also only the 5th total practice of the year and only like the 2nd in pads. Therefore there is still a long way to go before opening day!
