Georgia Football has added another piece to it’s 2018 class and continues to creep up the rankings. On Tuesday evening, 4 Star wide receiver Elijah Moore out of St. Thomas Aquinas in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, committed to UGA via Twitter. While not very big, Moore is a speedster with a really good 1st step. With the move of another speedster Mecole Hardman, who runs a 4.3 40, to receiver full-time, it looks like blazing speed is going to be a trait pursued by Kirby Smart and offensive coordinator Jim Chaney. Looks like they’re going after these “can’t tackle what you can’t catch” guys.
Moore joins the number 1 running back recruit in the nation, Zamir “Zeus” White and is the 11th commit in a class that frankly started out a little slow. The 5’11”, 170 pound receiver will be a welcome addition at a position of need. These 4 and 5 Star weapons should become more and more common at UGA the next few years. These kids know how valuable it is to have a 5 star blue chipper quarterback on the team they commit to to maximize their potential. Georgia has 2 in Jacob Eason and Jake Fromm and it still in the running for 2018 stud Justin Fields.
Check out the higlights of Moore at this years opening. The guy destroyed pretty much every CB he was up against and has a fantastic first step.
